The ERRR podcast can also be listened to on Spotify, apple podcasts, and all other podcasting apps.

This episode we’re speaking with Harry Fletcher-Wood. Harry is a teacher, researcher and teacher educator and has written three books to date, Ticked Off: Checklists for teachers, students and school leaders. Responsive Teaching: Cognitive Science and Formative Assessment in Practice, and his newest book which we’re speaking about today, Habits of Success: Getting every student learning. Harry is currently the Associate Dean at Ambition Institute and he has worked in England, Japan, India and Sweden.  Harry is fascinated by making things better and the social, psychological and structural changes this requires, and you’ll hear plenty more about that in this episode.

Above all, Harry is an incredibly intelligent, productive, and absolutely lovely guy and it was an immense pleasure to have him on the podcast. His work has had a profound influence on me over the years and I have little doubt that by the end of this episode, he’ll have had a big impact on you too. If you enjoyed the recent episode with Peps McCrea on motivating students, then hold on to your hat because this is another cracker of an episode sharing theory, strategy, tips and tricks to help motivate and empower students both in the classroom and at home.
