This page contains my lesson plans and associated links for my VCE Further Mathematics Class, 2017.
Teaching approach: I incorporate spaced repetition into the start of each of my lessons (allowing students to use their logbooks to answer the questions). I give students a weekly progress check based on questions drawn directly from exams and covering content from the previous three weeks (Modelled on the distributed practice approach outlined in this research article). Progress checks are self-marked immediately and, whilst not contributing to a final mark, act as an indication of student mastery.
